NCRC offers regular brown-bag lunchtime talks and workshops open to the public, potluck get-togethers for volunteers, advanced skills workshops and full mediation training, and celebratory parties every now and again.

SPECIAL EVENT MAY 2

NCRC will screen the documentary film, Resilience: The Biology Of Stress & The Science Of Hope as part of our ongoing education in best practices for supporting mediation clients with trauma history. The screening will last one hour and will be followed by a guided Q&A focused on the application of the film’s information to mediation practice. You can watch the trailer below. After every mediation, participants fill out an evaluation form. That is just one way we gather information to make sure we are doing the best we can for the people we serve. As you can see here, this is the kind of evaluation that makes us happy!
