SCHEDULING

HOW TO SCHEDULE MEDIATION

If your case is referred to us under one of our free programs, the referring Court or agency will send NCRC referral information, and we will follow up with you to schedule mediation. Feel free to call the office if you believe we should have a referral for you and you have not heard from our staff.

If you would like to schedule mediation for divorce, post-divorce, or non-court referred civil or family matters, NCRC requires each participant to complete the online Scheduling Request (link below) and pay a non-refundable $25 scheduling fee. All participants must complete these steps before NCRC will schedule a mediation. If a scheduled mediation is canceled by either party less than five days before the mediation, any request to reschedule will require an additional administration fee paid by the canceling party.

HOW DO WE KNOW IT WORKS?

After every mediation, participants fill out an evaluation form. That is just one way we gather information to make sure we are doing the best we can for the people we serve. As you can see here, this is the kind of evaluation that makes us happy!
