What is an NCRC mediator?

Community mediators are dedicated and passionate individuals who believe that people can engage in challenging conversations with compassion, dignity and respect for the future. They work in cooperative spirit, believing that all individuals deserve access to conflict resolution in order to lead more peaceful lives. Volunteer mediators come from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives but believe in the power of neutrality in service to their community.

NCRC’s work would not be possible without the tireless and meaningful efforts of a dedicated volunteer corp. Please consider joining our group of dedicated volunteers.

Meeting Needs

Our clients' needs vary based on their situation. We are always looking for mediators interested in mediating remotely and in-person.

Remote Mediation

Mediators use a combination of Zoom, Word, and DocuSign to connect to clients across Middle Tennessee. Parenting plans are mediated remotely. Victim-Offender cases may be remote depending on the needs of the parties.

In-Person Mediation

Most civil cases are mediated in-person through our "day-of-court" programs in Davidson, Sumner, and Warren General Sessions Courts. Victim-Offender cases may be in person depending on the needs of the party.
